Course Update

TK and William have got the course looking fantastic for this time of year and the drainage work has made a real difference.

There are however still many divots not being replaced and many pitch marks not being repaired.

Remember take a sand bucket with you, if you take a divot replace it and if you pitch a ball on the  green the ball generally makes a mark…please repair the mark.

Keys

The committee is in the process of updating our key register. If Denise has not contacted you directly asking  you which keys you have and you have some then could you please send  a message to denise@karorigolf.co.nz. If you no longer need to keep these keys then return them to the clubhouse

Wednesday Club

Seventeen " escapees" from retirement including a couple of " working from Home" and new members enjoyed fine, clear, windless conditions for the latest Par round of the Wednesday Club. TK and his team continue to make marvelous improvements to ground conditions.

There was serious competition at both ends of the scoring with Saint Kennach reluctantly  accepting a ball at the lower end and Alex Lim not waiting for the winner's prize of wine at the other end with +4. Marcus Henry +2 took the chocolates for runner-up and a ball for a Two. Jim Waters +2, Martin Leung +1, and Matt Everett +0 each received a ball for playing to their handicap or better. Ossie Santos scored a ball for NTP but paid the pig while Chris Pearce won the raffle from Marcus Henry
