Good morning golfers

 

The Karori Golf Club is delighted to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Stephen Wood, Professional Golfer, to provide coaching services for our members and juniors.

 

I attach a flyer which will be self explanatory.

 

 

Over the winter months Stephen will schedule member lessons every second Sunday from 11.30 until 1.30 and Friday from 9.30 until 12.30(ish).

 

The cost of lessons will be $40 (normally $60) for half an hour, or $75 (normally $100) for an hour (Karori Golf Club Members).

 

Juniors $20 for 30 to 60 minutes (plus help with ball pick up).

 

Stephen is particularly looking to connect with our Junior Members and will spend time with our Sunday Junior members from 10.30 - 1.30 working on their game and spending time on the putting green before they tee off at 11.30 for their games.  These lessons are complimentary.

 

Stephen is also happy to do group sessions (particularly with our inter club teams) and these will be by arrangement.

Clayton Willocks and I spent time with Stephen Friday a fortnight ago and we can attest that he will be a real asset to the club and a boon to our junior setup.

 

I would encourage all members who wish to improve their game to organise some time with Stephen.  I know that I am very likely to be one of his first students.
