Results of Summer Eclectic

 

I suppose the first thing to say is that next year the eclectic will be off the White Tee only.  Working out the result was difficult - but not impossible.

 

85 people took part this year, which was encouraging, and I will record the top 10 place getters.

 

By virtue of the fact that all tees were in play the result was calculated by taking the total gross score, finding the whole nett, then finding from the difference between total gross and hole nett the effective handicap, dividing that by 2 to get half nett, which became the result.

 

 

First equal on a half nett of 52: Richard Potter and Adrian Porter.  There is no ability to countback and no playoff so both golfer's will share the Trophy.

 

3rd: Patrick Cordue - 54

 

4th= Tim Richards, Graeme Couper and Nicholas Mills - 55

 

7th= Wayne Cook, Neil Hoskin, Terry McAlister - 55.5

 

10th= Grant Pollard, Mark Peck - 56
